I wouldn't consider this question tough.
All that's required to answer correctly on this is common sense.
All the options (except for the correct one) refer to January 1 2015, whereas in the question the input string refers to January 31 2015.
By this, one can easily deduce that none of the aforementioned options is correct, which leaves only one option - the correct one.
If the input string were to refer to the same date as the answers then it could probably be considered tough, but as it is now it's more on the easy side.
Was this done intentionally, or is it something the author of the question overlooked?
