is not wrong.
In the Oracle Java documentation

The opening delimiter is a sequence that starts with three double quote characters ("""), continues with zero or more space, tab, and form feed characters, and concludes with a line terminator.
So if there is no white space it is still okay.

Right, that is why option 3, which says "any number of white spaces" is correct. It includes """ immediately followed by a new line
