The exam does not go deep into runtime images and jlink. You will at most see a theoretical statement related to jlink in options. This is covered in questions 2.3001, 2.3003, 2.3006, and 2.3135.

Do you think it's still important to study jlink in detail for the OCP Java 21 exam, even though no practice questions seem to cover it?

Weird it’s in the "Packaging and Deploying Java Code" section but no exam questions on it. I’m studying for this too, and jlink’s cool for making small runtime images, but it feels like the exam skips it. Anyone else prepping for OCP 21 see jlink in their studies or is it just chilling in the syllabus?
